Shloka 31
इतीव संचिन्त्य सुरबिसंघा: सम्प्रस्थिता यान्ति यथा निकेतनम् | संचिन्तयित्वा जनता विसखु- य॑थासुखं खं च महीतलं च,इस युद्धके ही विषयमें सोच-विचार करते हुए देवताओं तथा ऋषियोंके समुदाय वहाँसे प्रस्थित हो अपने-अपने स्थानको चल दिये और इसी विषयका चिन्तन करते हुए अन्य लोग भी सुखपूर्वक अन्तरिक्ष अथवा भूतलपर अपने-अपने निवासस्थानको चले गये
itīva sañcintya surabisaṅghāḥ samprasthitā yānti yathā niketanam | sañcintayitvā janatā visakhū yathāsukhaṃ khaṃ ca mahītalaṃ ca ||
Having thus reflected, the assembled hosts of gods and seers set out from there and went each to his own abode. Likewise, other people too—still pondering this very matter of the war—departed in comfort, some through the open sky and others along the earth, returning to their respective dwellings.
शल्य उवाच
