देहांश्व॒ भोगांश्व॒ परिच्छदांश्व॒ त्यक्त्वा मनोज्ञानि सुखानि चैव । स्वधर्मनिष्ठां महतीमवाप्य व्याप्याशु लोकान् यशसा गतास्ते
dehāṁś ca bhogāṁś ca paricchadāṁś ca tyaktvā manojñāni sukhāni caiva | svadharmaniṣṭhāṁ mahatīm avāpya vyāpyāśu lokān yaśasā gatās te ||
Abandoning their bodies, their enjoyments, and all their possessions, and leaving behind even the pleasures that delight the mind, they attained a great steadfastness in their own dharma. Having swiftly pervaded the worlds with their fame, they passed on—honoured through renown—because they held firmly to righteous duty.
