वरायुधान्‌ पाणिगतै: शरै:ः सह क्षुरैन्यकृन्तत्‌ प्रपतन्‌ शिरांसि च

varāyudhān pāṇigataiḥ śaraiḥ saha kṣuraiḥ nyakṛntat prapatan śirāṃsi ca

Sañjaya said: With arrows shot from his own hand—together with razor-edged shafts—he cut down the heads of warriors bearing excellent weapons, so that they fell to the ground.
