Shloka 50

प्रेताश्नैव पिशाचाश्न क्रव्यादाश्च॒ मृगाण्डजा:

pretāśnaiva piśācāśna kravyādāś ca mṛgāṇḍajāḥ

Sañjaya reported that the battlefield had grown so dreadful that even beings who feed upon the dead—ghouls, flesh-eaters, and creatures born from the eggs of wild beasts—were drawn there to consume the fallen.
