Shloka 396

वृक्षाश्नौषधयश्चैव व्याश्रयन्त किरीटिनम्‌ | पर्वत, समुद्र, सजल नदियाँ, वृक्ष तथा ओषधियाँ--इन सबने अर्जुनके पक्षका आश्रय ले रखा था

vṛkṣāśnauṣadhayaś caiva vyāśrayanta kirīṭinam |

Sañjaya said: Even the trees, the edible plants, and the medicinal herbs took refuge with Kirīṭin (Arjuna). In the epic’s moral vision, nature itself is shown as siding with the righteous, implying that Arjuna’s cause is upheld not only by human allies but by the order of the world.
