Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ethical power of compassionate speech: in moments of devastation, dharmic leadership includes consoling the afflicted with truthful, soothing, ‘nectar-like’ words that restore steadiness and moral clarity.

Sañjaya foretells that Kṛṣṇa (Mādhava) will approach the grieving Draupadī and Yudhiṣṭhira (Dharmarāja) and comfort them, indicating a scene of emotional aftermath in the war where counsel and consolation become necessary.
