प्रतिश्रुति: प्राचरदन्तरिक्षे गुहा गिरीणामपतन्‌ वयांसि । यन्मण्डलज्येन विजृम्भमाणो रौद्रे मुहूर्तेडभ्यपतत्‌ किरीटी

Transliteration

pratiśrutiḥ prācarad antarīkṣe guhā girīṇām apatan vayāṁsi | yanmaṇḍalajyena vijṛmbhamāṇo raudre muhūrte 'bhyapatat kirīṭī ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: A loud reverberation spread through the sky; birds fell down into the mountain-caves. At that dreadful moment, the diademed Arjuna, swelling with the force of his bow’s arc, sprang forward to attack—an omen-laden surge of battle in which nature itself seemed shaken by the warrior’s resolve.
