Transliteration

tato 'bhijaghnur kupitāḥ parasparaṃ śarais tadāñjogatibhiḥ sutejanaiḥ

Translation

Then, inflamed with anger, they struck one another again and again with arrows—swift in their flight and keen-edged—each seeking to overpower the other in the relentless code of battle.
