त्वामभिप्रेप्सुरायाति कर्ण निध्नन् वरान् रथान् | असहामानो राधेय तं याहि प्रति भारत,'राधापुत्र कर्ण! अर्जुन बड़े-बड़े रथियोंका संहार करते हुए तुम्हें ही प्राप्त करनेके लिये इधर आ रहे हैं। ये शत्रुओंके लिये असहा हैं। तुम इन भरतवंशी वीरका सामना करनेके लिये आगे बढ़ो
Transliteration
tvām abhiprepsur āyāti karṇa nighnan varān rathān | asahāmāno rādheya taṁ yāhi prati bhārata ||
Translation
Arjuna said: “Karna, Arjuna is advancing here with the sole aim of reaching you, after cutting down many foremost chariot-warriors. He is unbearable to his foes. O son of Radha, go forth to meet that Bharata hero.”
