एतत् कूजति गाण्डीवं विसृष्टं सव्यसाचिना । एते हस्तवता मुक्ता घ्नन्त्यमित्रान् शिता: शरा:,“यह सव्यसाचीके द्वारा खींचा गया गाण्डीव धनुष टंकार रहा है, सिद्धहस्त अर्जुनके छोड़े हुए ये पैने बाण शत्रुओंका विनाश कर रहे हैं
etat kūjati gāṇḍīvaṁ visṛṣṭaṁ savyasācinā | ete hastavatā muktā ghnanty amitrān śitāḥ śarāḥ ||
This Gāṇḍīva bow, released and set in motion by the ambidextrous archer, is resounding. And these keen arrows—loosed by the master of the hand—are striking down the foes.
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined prowess and purposeful action in battle: skill (hastavatā, savyasācinā) is not mere display but is directed toward the legitimate defeat of hostile forces within the war’s dharmic framework.
Arjuna draws and releases the Gāṇḍīva; its twang is heard as he shoots sharp arrows that cut down enemy warriors, marking an intense moment of battlefield momentum.
