विरथान् द्रौपदेयांकश्ष चकार भरतर्षभ । अदक्ष्णो्निमिषमात्रेण तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्,इतना ही नहीं, शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले कर्णने तीन बाणोंसे सहदेवके सारथिको भी मार डाला और पलक मारते-मारते द्रौपदीके पुत्रोंकी रथहीन कर दिया। भरतश्रेष्ठ) वह अद्भुत-सा कार्य हुआ
Translation
O best of the Bhāratas! Karna, the tormentor of foes, made Draupadī’s sons bereft of their chariots. Nor was that all: with three arrows he slew Sahadeva’s charioteer as well; in the mere space of a blink, the deed seemed like a marvel.
