Transliteration
āścaryaṃ sindhurājasya vadhaṃ jānanti pārthivāḥ
Translation
Sanjaya said: The kings came to know of the astonishing slaying of the Sindhu ruler—an event that spread through the battlefield as a sign of how swiftly fate and valor can overturn even royal power in war.
