रुदित्वा सुचिरं काल भ्रातरौ सुमहाद्युती । कृतशौचौ महाराज प्रीतिमन्तौ बभूवतु:,महाराज! वे दोनों महातेजस्वी भाई दीर्घकालतक रोते रहे। इससे उनके मनकी मैल धुल गयी और वे दोनों भाई परस्पर प्रेमसे भर गये
ruditvā suciraṁ kālaṁ bhrātarau sumahādyutī | kṛtaśaucau mahārāja prītimantau babhūvatuḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “After weeping for a long time, O King, the two brothers of great splendor became purified, as though cleansed inwardly; and they came to be filled with mutual affection.”
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that two brothers, after weeping for a long time, become inwardly purified and regain mutual love—signaling a softening of hostility and a return of familial feeling.
