कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
कस्माद् भवान् महाखडूगं परिगृह्नाति सत्वर: । तत् त्वां पृच्छामि कौन्तेय किमिदं ते चिकीर्षितम्
kasmād bhavān mahākhaḍgaṃ parigṛhṇāti satvaraḥ | tat tvāṃ pṛcchāmi kaunteya kim idaṃ te cikīrṣitam ||
Sañjaya said: “Why are you so quickly taking up that great sword? I ask you this, O son of Kuntī—what is it that you intend to do?”
