Some people, while seeking to take away what is not rightfully theirs, still claim to desire dharma. But whether one seeks liberation or any other end, one should never lend approval—by silent acquiescence—to what is improper.

Educational Q&A

Dharma is not compatible with unjust seizure or wrongdoing; one must not endorse adharma even through silence. Ethical integrity requires refusing complicity, whether one seeks worldly aims or even moksha.

Vāyudeva delivers a moral admonition: he critiques those who pursue unjust ends while claiming righteousness, and instructs that one should not give approval—explicitly or implicitly—to improper actions.
