Shloka 48

अथ दस्युभयात्‌ केचित्‌ तदा तद्‌ वनमाविशन्‌ | तत्रापि दस्यव: क्रुद्धास्तानमार्गन्त यत्नतः,एक दिनकी बात है, कुछ लोग लुटेरोंके भयसे छिपनेके लिये उस वनमें घुस गये; परंतु वे लुटेरे कुपित हो वहाँ भी उन लोगोंका यत्नपूर्वक अनुसंधान करने लगे

atha dasyubhayāt kecit tadā tad vanam āviśan | tatrāpi dasyavaḥ kruddhās tān amārganta yatnataḥ ||

Then, fearing the bandits, some people entered that forest to hide. Yet even there the bandits, enraged, diligently searched for them—showing how fear can drive the innocent into peril, while anger and greed make the violent relentless in their pursuit.
