कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
न हि पश्यामि योद्धव्यं त्वया किज्चिद् धनंजय । ते ग्रस्ता धार्तराष्ट्रा हि भीमसेनेन धीमता,“धनंजय! यहाँ तुम्हें किसीके साथ युद्ध करना हो, ऐसा तो नहीं दिखायी देता; क्योंकि धृतराष्ट्रके पुत्रोंकोी बुद्धिमान भीमसेनने कालका ग्रास बना रखा है
sañjaya uvāca |
na hi paśyāmi yoddhavyaṃ tvayā kiñcid dhanañjaya |
te grastā dhārtarāṣṭrā hi bhīmasenena dhīmatā ||
Sañjaya said: “Dhanañjaya, I do not see that there remains anything for you to fight here. For the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra have already been swallowed up—as if by Death itself—by the wise and mighty Bhīmasena.”
