The Karṇa–Arjuna Confrontation

Cosmic Spectatorship and Vows

Sañjaya said: Then, O King, in that great battle, sharp arrows streamed forth in countless multitudes—by the thousands, tens of thousands, and even in crores—unleashed with overwhelming force. The scene conveys not only the scale of Karṇa’s martial prowess but also the grim ethical weight of war, where extraordinary skill becomes an instrument of mass destruction and the battlefield is flooded by the consequences of wrath and resolve.
