सहस्राणि च योधानां त्वामेव पुरुषोत्तम | क्रोशन्ति समरे वीर द्राव्यमाणानि पाण्डवै:
sahasrāṇi ca yodhānāṃ tvām eva puruṣottama | krośanti samare vīra drāvyamāṇāni pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
Sanjaya said: “O Purushottama, in this battle thousands of warriors—driven into flight by the Pandavas—are crying out, calling upon you alone. O hero, amid the terror of rout they seek refuge in your strength.”
