Sañjaya said: Having exerted his valor for the sake of the Pāṇḍavas, and after slaying enemies on the battlefield, the warrior Satyadhṛti was sent to Yama’s abode, going the way of death.

The verse underscores the kṣatriya ideal of steadfast loyalty and courageous action for one’s rightful cause, while also reminding that even great valor culminates in mortality—death (Yama’s realm) is the inevitable end of embodied life.
Sañjaya reports that the warrior Satyadhṛti, fighting on behalf of the Pāṇḍavas, displayed great prowess, slew enemies in battle, and then fell—thus being described as going to Yama’s abode.
