Educational Q&A

When conflict has become unavoidable and is undertaken as a matter of dharma, hesitation that prolongs suffering is discouraged; the leader is urged to act decisively, with clarity and responsibility, to bring the ordeal to an end.

Sanjaya reports the battlefield exchange: after the call to swiftly strike the Kauravas, Kṛṣṇa addresses Arjuna—calmly, even with a slight smile—urging him to quickly destroy the Kaurava troops, reinforcing Arjuna’s role as the principal executor of the Pandava war effort.
