अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

वैश्वानरं यथा प्राप्य प्रतिदहाुन्ति वै जना:

Transliteration

vaiśvānaraṃ yathā prāpya pratidahanti vai janāḥ

Translation

Sañjaya said: “Just as people, upon encountering the blazing fire of Vaiśvānara, are scorched and burned in return, so too do those who come into contact with that consuming force meet inevitable destruction.”
