Chapter 45
एवमुक्तो<र्जुनो राज्ञा प्राउ्जलिन॒पमब्रवीत् । यथा भवानाह तथा तत् सर्व न तदन्यथा,राजा युधिष्ठिरके ऐसा कहनेपर अर्जुन हाथ जोड़कर उनसे बोले--“भारत! आप जैसा कहते हैं वह सब वैसा ही है। उसमें थोड़ा-सा भी अन्तर नहीं है
evam ukto 'rjuno rājñā prāñjalir enam abravīt | yathā bhavān āha tathā tat sarvaṁ na tad anyathā ||
Sañjaya said: Thus addressed by the king, Arjuna, with hands joined in reverence, replied: “O Bharata, everything is exactly as you say; it is not otherwise in the least.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined humility and ethical receptivity: Arjuna responds with reverence and affirms the king’s words without contradiction, modeling respect for rightful authority and counsel amid crisis.
Sañjaya narrates that after Yudhiṣṭhira speaks to him, Arjuna folds his hands and assures the king that his statement is entirely correct and will be accepted as such.
