कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
प्रयाते रथमास्थाय त्रिपुराभिमुखे भवे । ननाद सुमहानादं वृषभ: पूरयन् दिश:,रथपर आरूढ़ हो जब महादेवजी त्रिपुरकी ओर प्रस्थित हुए, उस समय नन््दी वृषभने सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको गुँजाते हुए बड़े चोरसे सिंहनाद किया
prayāte rathamāsthāya tripurābhimukhe bhave | nanāda sumahānādaṃ vṛṣabhaḥ pūrayan diśaḥ ||
When Bhava (Śiva) set out, mounting his chariot and turning toward Tripura, his bull Nandin let out a tremendous roar that filled all directions—an auspicious proclamation of the Lord’s march against adharma.
पितामह उवाच
The verse highlights the divine resolve to confront and remove adharma: Śiva’s purposeful departure and Nandin’s world-filling roar symbolize the restoration of cosmic order and the assurance that unrighteous power (Tripura) will be checked.
Bhīṣma describes Śiva (Bhava) setting out on his chariot toward Tripura; at that moment Nandin, Śiva’s bull, roars mightily, making the quarters resound as a dramatic sign of the impending divine assault.
