ऋषयपस्तत्र देवेशं स्तुवन्तो बहुभि: स्तवैः । तेजश्चास्मै वर्धयन्तो राजन्नासन् पुन: पुन:,राजन्! ऋषिगण नाना प्रकारके स्तोत्रोंका पाठ करके देवेश्वर महादेवकी स्तुति करते हुए बारंबार उनका तेज बढ़ा रहे थे
ṛṣayapas tatra deveśaṃ stuvanto bahubhiḥ stavaiḥ | tejaś cāsmai vardhayanto rājann āsan punaḥ punaḥ ||
O King, there the assembled sages, reciting many kinds of hymns, praised the Lord of the gods, Mahādeva. By their repeated laudations they were, again and again, augmenting his divine radiance.
पितामह उवाच
