महानार्तस्वरो हयासीत् पुराणां पततां भुवि । तान् सो$सुरगणान् दश्ध्वा प्राक्षिपत् पश्चिमार्णवे,महाभाग! उस समय उस श्रेष्ठ बाणके छूटते ही भूतलपर गिरते हुए उन तीनों पुरोंका महान् आर्तनाद प्रकट हुआ। भगवानने उन असुरोंको भस्म करके पश्चिम समुद्रमें डाल दिया
Translation
A great cry of anguish arose as the cities fell toward the earth. He burned the host of Asuras to ashes and cast them into the western ocean.
