तान् शरानच्छिनत् पाण्ड्यो नवभिन्निशितैः शरै: । चतुर्भिरर्दयच्चाश्वानाशु ते व्यसवो5भवन्,परंतु पाण्ड्यनरेशने नौ तीखे सायकोंद्वारा उन सब बाणोंके टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिये। फिर चार बाणोंसे उसके अश्वोंको अत्यन्त पीड़ा दी, जिससे वे शीघ्र ही अपने प्राण छोड़ बैठे
Translation
But the Pāṇḍya king cut those arrows to pieces with nine keen shafts; then with four more he grievously pained his opponent’s horses, and they quickly died.
