Sañjaya said: “Thus, O descendant of Bharata, having arrayed this vast and formidable battle-formation, the Pāṇḍavas and your own great bowmen fixed their minds solely upon battle.”

The verse highlights single-pointed resolve in a kṣatriya context: once the armies are arrayed, both sides commit their minds entirely to the duty and consequences of battle, underscoring the ethical weight of intention (mano-niyoga) in action.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that a great battle-formation has been arranged, and that the Pāṇḍavas and the Kaurava champions (great archers) are now fully focused on fighting as the confrontation proceeds.
