आहोस्विच्छकटबव्यूहं प्रविष्टा मोघनिश्चया: । द्रोणमाश्रित्य तिष्ठन्तं प्राकारमकुतो भयम्‌,अथवा ऐसा तो नहीं हुआ कि अपना मनोरथ सफल न होनेपर वे परकोटेकी भाँति खड़े हुए द्रोणाचार्यका आश्रय लेकर सर्वथा निर्भय शकटव्यूहमें घुस गये हों

āhosvic chakaṭavyūhaṁ praviṣṭā moghaniścayāḥ | droṇam āśritya tiṣṭhantaṁ prākāram akuto-bhayam ||

Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “Or did they, their resolve rendered futile, enter the cart-shaped battle-formation without fear—taking refuge in Droṇa, who stood firm like a rampart?”
