Sañjaya said: “The Pāṇḍavas will come to know this perversion and inconsistency of your counsel; and the Pāñcālas, all the Vṛṣṇis, and whatever other kings there are as well—each of them will have to endure the consequences of that misguided policy.”

Faulty judgment and crooked counsel in leadership do not remain private errors; they spread outward, forcing many—friends, allies, and even unrelated rulers—to bear the consequences. The verse underscores ethical responsibility in decision-making, especially during war.
Sañjaya, reporting events and sentiments from the battlefield context of Droṇa Parva, warns that the Pāṇḍavas and their allies (Pāñcālas and Vṛṣṇis), along with other kings, will recognize the deviation in the addressed person’s policy and will suffer its resulting fallout.
