अनतिक्रमणीयो<यं कृतान्तस्याद्भुतो विधि: । मा शुचो भरतश्रेष्ठ दिष्टमेतत् पुरातनम्,कालके इस अद्भुत विधानका उल्लंघन करना असम्भव है। भरतभूषण! शोक त्याग दीजिये। यह सब पुरातन प्रारब्धका फल है
Transliteration
anatikramaṇīyo 'yaṃ kṛtāntasyādbhuto vidhiḥ | mā śuco bharataśreṣṭha diṣṭam etat purātanam ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “This wondrous ordinance of Kṛtānta (Death/inevitable destiny) cannot be transgressed. Do not grieve, O best of the Bharatas; this is an ancient allotment—an old, preordained fate coming to fruition.”
