द्रोणेन सात्यकिपीडनम् — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Charge to Sātyaki amid Droṇa’s Onslaught
वासुदेवो5पि तद्युक्त पर्यपृच्छद् युधिष्ठिरम् । ततश्न प्रकृती: क्षत्ता न्यवेदयदुपस्थिता:,तब भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने भी उनसे समयोचित प्रश्न किये। तत्पश्चात् सेवकने आकर सूचना दी कि मन्त्री, सेनापति आदि उपस्थित हैं
Vāsudevo ’pi tad-yuktaḥ paryapṛcchad Yudhiṣṭhiram | tataś ca prakṛtīḥ kṣattā nyavedayad upasthitāḥ ||
Sanjaya said: Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) too, as the moment required, questioned Yudhishthira. Then the chamberlain came and reported that the king’s chief officers—ministers, the commander, and other functionaries—were present and awaiting audience.
संजय उवाच
Even amid war, righteous leadership requires timely, appropriate inquiry and consultation with responsible officers; dharma in governance is upheld through measured speech, proper procedure, and attention to the state’s functioning.
Kṛṣṇa asks Yudhiṣṭhira questions suited to the situation, and immediately afterward the palace chamberlain announces that key officials—ministers, the commander, and others—have assembled and are ready to meet.
