Sañjaya said: “Why do you rejoice, you who are ignorant of dharma? Let the might of the Pāṇḍavas be seen. And what could you possibly do in battle that would not be displeasing to Keśava and Arjuna?”

Educational Q&A

Rejoicing over unrighteous acts is condemned; true strength is aligned with dharma, and actions that oppose dharma inevitably incur the disapproval and resistance of the righteous—here epitomized by Keśava and Arjuna.

Sañjaya reports a taunt directed at the Kaurava warriors: they are questioned for celebrating despite their failure against Arjuna, and they are warned to behold the Pāṇḍavas’ power; the speaker underscores that in battle the Kauravas cannot act in a way that will not provoke Keśava and Arjuna.
