Shloka 73

सुरासुरान्‌ नागरक्ष:पिशाचान्‌ नरान्‌ सुपर्णानथ गन्धर्वयक्षान्‌ । पृथग्विधान्‌ भूतसंघांश्व विश्वां- स्त्वत्सम्भूतान्‌ विद्य सर्वास्तथैव । ऐन्द्रं याम्यं वारुणं वैत्तपाल्यं पैन्र॑ त्वाष्टर कर्म सौम्यं च तुभ्यम्‌,देवता, असुर, नाग, राक्षस, पिशाच, मनुष्य, गरुड़ आदि पक्षी, गन्धर्व तथा यक्ष आदि जो पृथक्‌-पृथक्‌ प्राणियोंक अखिल समुदाय हैं, उन सबको हम आपसे ही उत्पन्न हुआ मानते हैं। इसी प्रकार इन्द्र, यम, वरुण और कुबेरका पद, पितरोंका लोक तथा विश्वकर्माकी सुन्दर शिल्पकला आदिका आविर्भाव भी आपसे ही हुआ है

surāsurān nāgarakṣaḥpiśācān narān suparṇān atha gandharvayakṣān | pṛthagvidhān bhūtasaṅghāṃś ca viśvāṃs tvatsaṃbhūtān vidya sarvās tathaiva | aindraṃ yāmyaṃ vāruṇaṃ vittapālyaṃ paitṛṃ tvāṣṭraṃ karma saumyaṃ ca tubhyam ||

Śrī Nārāyaṇa said: “Know that all the diverse hosts of beings—gods and asuras, nāgas, rākṣasas and piśācas, humans, the suparṇas (Garuda-like birds), and also gandharvas and yakṣas—indeed the whole multitude in its many forms, are born from you. Likewise, the stations and powers associated with Indra, Yama, Varuṇa, and Kubera; the realm of the Pitṛs; and even the gracious craft of Viśvakarman—these too arise from you.”
