Shloka 7

न पूजयेत्‌ त्वां को न्वद्य यत्‌ त्रयोदशवार्षिकम्‌ | अमर्ष पृष्ठतः कृत्वा धर्ममेवाभिकाड्क्षसे,“आज तेरह वर्षोसे संचित किये हुए अमर्षको पीछे करके जो तुम धर्मकी ही अभिलाषा रखते हो, इसके लिये कौन तुम्हारी पूजा नहीं करेगा?

na pūjayet tvāṁ ko nv adya yat trayodaśavārṣikam | amarṣaṁ pṛṣṭhataḥ kṛtvā dharmam evābhikāṅkṣase |

Sañjaya said: “Who, indeed, would not honor you today, when—setting aside the resentment accumulated over thirteen years—you still choose to seek only dharma? In such restraint and steadfast longing for righteousness, you become worthy of reverence.”
