द्रोणास्त्रेण महाराज वध्यमाना: परे युधि । नात्रसन्त रणे द्रोणात् सत्त्ववन्तो महारथा:,महाराज! द्रोणाचार्यके अस्त्रसे मारे जानेवाले शत्रुदलके महारथी वीर बड़े धैर्यशाली थे, अतः: वे रणभूमिमें उनसे तनिक भी भयभीत न हुए
droṇāstreṇa mahārāja vadhyamānāḥ pare yudhi | nātrāsan raṇe droṇāt sattvavanto mahārathāḥ ||
Sanjaya said: O King, though the opposing great chariot-fighters were being struck down in battle by Drona’s weapon, those steadfast warriors did not lose heart. On that field they showed no fear of Drona, even amid the deadly onslaught.
