बाहुभि: कवचैश्रित्रै: शिरोभिश्चवारुकुण्डलै: । युद्धोपकरणैश्षान्यैस्तत्र तत्र चकाशिरे,योद्धाओंकी कटी हुई भुजाओं, विचित्र कवचों, मनोहर कुण्डलमण्डित मस्तकों तथा इधर-उधर बिखरी हुई अन्यान्य युद्ध-सामग्रियोंसे रणभूमिके विभिन्न प्रदेश प्रकाशित हो रहे थे
bāhubhiḥ kavacaiś citraiḥ śirobhiś cāru-kuṇḍalaiḥ | yuddhopakaraṇaiś cānyais tatra tatra cakāśire ||
Sañjaya said: The battlefield shone in many places, lit up by severed arms, by variegated coats of mail, by heads adorned with beautiful earrings, and by other scattered implements of war.
