देवगन्धर्वदीपाद्यै: प्रभाभिरधिकोज्ज्वलै: । विरराज तदा भूमिग्रहैद्यौरिव भारत,भारत! उन्हींमें देवताओं और गन्धरवोंके भी दीप आदि जल रहे थे, जो अपनी विशेष प्रभाके कारण अधिक प्रकाशित हो रहे थे। उनके द्वारा उस समय रणभूमि नक्षत्रोंसे आकाशकी भाँति सुशोभित हो रही थी
Translation
Then, among them, the lamps and torches of the gods and the Gandharvas were burning too—more dazzling than all others by their special radiance. By that light the battlefield shone like the star-strewn sky, O Bharata.
