Shloka 313

द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय १६२: प्रातःसंध्यायां युद्धप्रवृत्तिः तथा रजोमेघे संमूढता

यावत्‌ त्वां निशितैर्बाणै: प्रेषयामि यमक्षयम्‌ । 'धृष्टद्युम्न! स्थिर होकर दो घड़ी और प्रतीक्षा कर लो” तबतक मैं तुम्हें अपने पैने बाणोंद्वारा यमलोक भेज देता हूँ!

yāvat tvāṃ niśitair bāṇaiḥ preṣayāmi yamakṣayam | dhṛṣṭadyumna sthiraḥ bhūtvā dve ghaṭike ca pratīkṣasva ||

Sañjaya said: “Hold steady, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, and wait for just two ghaṭikās (a short while). Until then, I shall dispatch you with my razor-sharp arrows to Yama’s imperishable realm.”
