Educational Q&A

The line highlights how, in the momentum of war, speech (orders, provocation, or counsel) rapidly becomes action; it implicitly contrasts disciplined restraint with the ease of collective escalation into violence.

After being addressed (by a prior speaker in the episode), the assembled warriors respond immediately by hurling weapons in mass, described metaphorically as a ‘rain’ of arms.
