सर्वेषामेव पार्थानां फाल्गुनो बलवत्तर: | तस्यामोघां विमोक्ष्यामि शक्ति शक्रविनिर्मिताम्‌,कुन्तीके सभी पुत्रोंमें अर्जुन ही अधिक शक्तिशाली हैं, अतः मैं इन्द्रकी दी हुई अमोघ शक्तिको अर्जुनपर ही छोड़ूँगा

Transliteration

sarveṣām eva pārthānāṁ phālguno balavattaraḥ | tasyāmoghāṁ vimokṣyāmi śaktiṁ śakra-vinirmitām ||

Translation

Karna said: “Among all the sons of Pṛthā (Kuntī), Phālguna (Arjuna) is the most powerful. Therefore I shall release against him the unfailing spear, fashioned by Śakra (Indra).”
