उपायैः पूर्ववधकथनम् / Strategic Justifications for Prior Eliminations
तथेतरे नरव्याप्रा: पाण्डवानां महारथा:
tathetare naravyāprāḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathāḥ
Sañjaya said: So too, the other great chariot-warriors of the Pāṇḍavas, fully engaged in the work of men—striving and intent on their duty in battle—pressed on with their efforts.
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores disciplined exertion in one’s appointed role: the Pāṇḍavas’ foremost warriors are portrayed as fully engaged in purposeful action, reflecting the kṣatriya ideal of committed effort in a righteous cause rather than hesitation or passivity.
Sañjaya continues his battlefield report to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, noting that the remaining great chariot-warriors on the Pāṇḍava side are likewise actively occupied—pressing forward with their martial tasks amid the ongoing conflict.
