Kṛṣṇa’s strategic reassurance

हतो राजेति राजेन्द्र मुदितानां समन्‍्ततः । बाणशब्दरवश्षोग्र: शुश्रुवे तत्र मारिष,आदरणीय राजेन्द्र! उस समय प्रसन्न हुए पांचाल सैनिकोंने “राजा दुर्योधन मारा गया' ऐसा कहकर चारों ओर अत्यन्त महान्‌ कोलाहल मचाया। वहाँ बाणोंका भयंकर शब्द भी सुनायी दे रहा था

Sañjaya said: “The king is slain!”—O lord of kings—thus rang out on every side the cries of the rejoicing. There too, O venerable one, was heard the fierce tumult: the roar and the dreadful sound of arrows.
