यच्च पित्रानुशिष्टोडसि तद् वच: परिपालय । आनृशंस्ये दमे सत्ये चार्जवे च स्थिरो भव,यह भी कहना कि पिताने जो तुम्हें उपदेश दिया है, उसका पालन करो। दया, दम, सत्य और सरलता आदि सदगुणोंमें स्थिर रहो
Transliteration
yac ca pitṛ-anuśiṣṭo 'si tad vacaḥ paripālaya | ānṛśaṃsye dame satye cārjave ca sthiro bhava ||
Translation
And whatever instruction you have received from your father—guard that word and live by it. Stand firm in compassion and non-cruelty, in self-restraint, in truthfulness, and in straightforward integrity.
