अलायुधस्य भीमवधसंकल्पः

Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma

विनष्टान्‌ कौरवान्‌ मन्ये सपुत्रपशुबान्धवान्‌ | राजधर्मपरे नित्यं त्वयि क्रुद्धे परंतप,'शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले वीर! सदा राजधर्मके पालनमें तत्पर रहनेवाले आपके कुपित होनेपर मैं कौरवोंको पुत्र, पशु तथा बन्धु-बान्धवोंसहित नष्ट हुआ ही मानता हूँ!

sañjaya uvāca |

vinaṣṭān kauravān manye saputrapaśubāndhavān |

rājadharmapare nityaṁ tvayi kruddhe paraṁtapa ||

Sañjaya said: “I deem the Kauravas already destroyed—together with their sons, their cattle, and their kinsmen—for when you, ever steadfast in rājadharma, are angered, O scorcher of foes, ruin inevitably follows them.”
