Sañjaya said: Then he addressed Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) and the Pāṇḍava Dhanañjaya (Arjuna): “O Bhārata! O slayer of foes! These Kauravas, struck down by your wrath, are being killed, have been killed, and will in time be utterly destroyed.”

The verse highlights krodha (wrath) as a powerful causal force: once unleashed in war, it accelerates destruction and makes outcomes feel inevitable. Ethically, it cautions that even in a dharmic conflict, anger can become the instrument through which mass ruin is brought about.
Sañjaya reports that someone (in the battle context) addresses Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, declaring that the Kauravas have been killed, are being killed, and will be destroyed—attributing their downfall to Arjuna’s wrath and martial onslaught.
