Sañjaya said: Then, approaching King Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Dharma, he (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) bowed to him with a heart filled with joy, for the lord of Sindhu (Jayadratha) had been slain by Pārtha (Arjuna).
संजय उवाच
Even amid warfare and victory, dharma is expressed through humility and proper honor: Kṛṣṇa’s joyful yet respectful bow to Yudhiṣṭhira underscores that righteous leadership and moral order are upheld by reverence, self-restraint, and acknowledgment of rightful authority.
After Arjuna kills Jayadratha (the Sindhu-king), Kṛṣṇa goes to Yudhiṣṭhira and bows to him, conveying the success of the crucial vow-bound objective and signaling a turning point of morale and momentum for the Pāṇḍavas.
