अदृश्यन्तान्तरिक्षस्था: शतशो5थ सहसख्रश: । शूरवीर महात्मा अर्जुनके चलाये हुए सैकड़ों और हजारों बाणसमूह आकाशमें घूमते हुए-से दिखायी देते थे

sañjaya uvāca | adṛśyantāntarikṣasthāḥ śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ | śūravīra mahātmārjunena calitāḥ śarasaṅghā ākāśe bhramantīva dṛśyante sma |

Sañjaya said: In the sky, hundreds—indeed thousands—of arrows released by the heroic, great-souled Arjuna could be seen, as though whirling through the heavens. The scene conveys the overwhelming force of disciplined martial skill, where prowess is displayed within the grim moral theatre of war.
