धरण्यां मम पुत्रस्य पातयिष्यति यः शिर: । तस्यापि शतधा मूर्थधा फलिष्यति न संशय:,'संग्राममें युद्धतत्पर हो भारी भार वहन करते हुए मेरे इस पुत्रके मस्तकको जो पृथ्वीपर गिरा देगा, उसके सिरके भी सैकड़ों टुकड़े हो जायँगे, इसमें संशय नहीं हैं!
Transliteration
dharaṇyāṃ mama putrasya pātayiṣyati yaḥ śiraḥ | tasyāpi śatadhā mūrdhā phaliṣyati na saṃśayaḥ ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Whoever, while bearing the heavy burden of battle and intent on fighting, casts my son’s head down upon the earth—his own head too will be shattered into a hundred pieces; of this there is no doubt.”
