Transliteration
karṇa-kauravayor evaṁ raṇe sambhāṣamāṇayoḥ
Translation
Sañjaya said: While Karna and the Kauravas were thus conversing on the battlefield, the course of events pressed onward amid the war’s moral strain—where counsel, loyalty, and ambition contend even as weapons are raised.
